We fired up the grill today in preparation for the Whole 30, which we are starting next Monday, 10/17!
This blog post also comes with a confession. We haven’t been the very best at eating clean and keeping up with BBG these past few weeks. Not going to blame it completely on our work + travels, but they were definitely a factor. This is why we love the BBG community because it holds us ACCOUNTABLE & INSPIRES us on the daily when we open up our fitness Instagram account! 🙂 We have been so inspired by @moms.can.be.fit & @julieanakim, watching their journey through their 30 days. They totally inspired us to join the party, but we wanted to wait until our Orlando trip (we will blog about this soon!) was over since we HAD to go to Disney World’s Epcot International Food and Wine Festival! It was sooooo much fun and we ate such yummy food from around the world, but also very very unhealthy! We definitely don’t regret any of it though!
Now that we’re back, we are SO excited to start the Whole 30, and LUCKY US! So many girls are ready for their Round 2 and we’re all starting on the same day. Let us know if you want to join! Monday, 10/17 is the date! Remember, MEAL PREP IS KEY!!!!! We heard from soooo many girls that it’s imperative to meal prep so you don’t accidentally slip up! 😉 Research is also a huge part of this because we’ve been scavenging for new, yummy, fun, and Whole 30 friendly recipes to try! Without further ado, I present you our first ALMOST Whole 30 friendly meal – STEAK & VEGGIES DINNER! We had to pair it with wine because our dad just got in a huge box of 2 year preordered wine (yes, he’s a big wine-o) so we had to pop one open to try! Cheerio!
